Countdown 2026 at the Kallang

Countdown 2026 at The Kallang, organised by The Kallang Group, marked the organisation’s first major event following its rebrand. Celebrating alongside the community, The Kallang Group ushered in 2026 with a vibrant evening filled with live music, family-friendly activities, roaming performances, and a dazzling fireworks showcase over the Kallang Basin.

One of the key highlights was the inaugural Countdown 2026 Concert at the Stadium Roar, featuring an impressive lineup led by K-pop legends Super Junior. They were joined by Chinese singer Cheng Huan (承桓) and home-grown favourites including Benjamin Kheng, Tabitha Nauser, and Iman Fandi, among others.

The festivities culminated at midnight with a stunning 15-minute fireworks finale, crowning a total of 35 minutes of fireworks that illuminated the night sky above the Kallang Basin.

The celebration also saw the announcement of the first-ever Kallang Pass winner, 19-year-old Ong Chen Yu, Thevin. Expressing his excitement, he shared his enthusiasm about being the inaugural recipient and looked forward to attending upcoming events, especially catching Eric Chou live. Encouraged by friends to attend the countdown, he thanked The Kallang Group for the opportunity and shared his anticipation for making new memories at The Kallang in 2026. The Kallang Pass offers a year-long entry to a range of sports and entertainment events in 2026 at the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium at The Kallang.
