The 2025 Hualien Summer Festival, Taiwan's biggest music event, is set to return from July 23-28 at Dongdamen Square in Hualien City. This year's festival, its 18th edition, is part of the "We Bloom!" revitalization effort launched by the Hualien County Government following the April 3 earthquake, symbolizing the region's resilience.

The festival will showcase over 30 world-class artists across six nights, featuring a diverse lineup of pop, rock, rap, indie, and traditional folk music, with highlighted acts including:

July 23: MIXER / Amazing Show / Retrospect

July 24: Michelle Pan / Siao-Rong Shih

July 25: Accusefive / SHOU

July 26: 911 / OSN

July 27: Weibird / TRASH

July 28: Show Lo (Grand Finale)

More than just a music festival, the Hualien Summer Festival serves as a crucial cultural and economic driver for Eastern Taiwan. It brings together top names in music against the backdrop of Taiwan's beautiful coastline, and showcases Hualien's stunning natural landscapes, including nearby Taroko National Park, and its rich indigenous culture.

The festival features professional-level staging, transforming Dongdamen Square into a vibrant entertainment hub, complete with fireworks displays over the Pacific Ocean.
