[SG Cafe] Kosnica Cafe at Duxton Road - CLOSED
Tucked in a quiet corner of Duxton Road, lies a Dessert Cafe - Kosnica Cafe.
Walk into the cafe, you will be welcomed by cute decorations related to Bees and Honey! They even have fun facts about Bees listed on this cute wall decoration.
There's a good mixed of flavours available and the store assistance will even recommend you the waffle flavour that goes well best with the gelato flavour picked. Highly recommended flavours are the Raspberry & Passion Fruit, Sea Salt Caramel with Almonds, and Mao Shan Wang Durian (Best on its own).
Honey??? Yes, Kosnica not only sells dessert items like Gelato, Sorbet, Waffles, but also honey. They are the sole distributor for the Little Green Bee Trigona Itama Honey and Nanstian Ginseng Honey.
Most of you have probably heard about the Manuka Honey but probably not the Trigona Itama Honey. So what is Trigona Itama Honey? It is actually honey of stingless bees (Trigona Itama). The Trigona Honey, originates from tropical countries such as China, Malaysia and Australia, is not only organic, but also contains high PPF, an anti-bacterial properties that helps to boost the immune system. The Trigina Honey is slightly watery and have a slightly sourish, plum like taste, when compare the other honey in the market.
The Little Green Bee Trigona Honey comes in two bottle sizes:

We have the Mocha with Biscuit Chips Gelato Buttermilk mini-waffle and the Raspberry & Passionfruit with Red Velvet mini-waffle. The cafe is a cozy place where Elizabeth & I have a good time snapping around.
