Acclaimed for its rich luscious chocolate ganache cakes and artisanal coffees, Chocolate Origin, which has been making waves in Singapore’s chocolate scene since 2011, will be launching its first ever Dark Chocolate Gelato after five years in the making!
General Manager of Chocolate Origin, Kian Yong shared that “The inspiration behind Chocolate Origin’s Dark Chocolate Gelato was for our customers to enjoy our chocolate ganache cakes in the form of a gelato especially with the hot weather we’ve been experiencing recently.”, and long hours have been spent in the R&D room, perfecting the Italian gelato recipe, and tweaking it to suit Singapore’s palate.
With a strong desire to expand on its chocolate repertoire with a unique and outstanding creation, the Chocolate Origin team individually bought and tasted every type of chocolate they could get their hands on before picking the right one. The end result is a velvety smooth dark chocolate gelato with a rich yet bitter-sweet taste, made with same premium Belgian chocolate, used in the making of their signature chocolate truffle cake.
Apart from its signature Chocolate Truffle cakes and Cuppa Lave Cake, Chocolate Origin also brewed coffee made from the finest Arabica coffee beans from Latin America, which are known for their distinctive aroma and exquisitely smooth texture; which is a perfect match with Chocolate Origin’s cakes and gelato.
From ice cold chocolate shakes to freshly brewed artisan lattes, Chocolate Origin baristas go the extra mile to delight their patrons with unique and creative latte art.
To kick start the dark chocolate gelato launch, Chocolate Origin will be giving out free scoop of gelato to first 1000 patrons on 18 June 2016, from 10:30am to 9:00pm at their Bugis Junction outlet (#B1-01/02).
