Bangkok Jam: Thai' Rrific Food Fest

On 22 October 2015, Bangkok Jam, which offers authentic Thai favourites, as well as dishes infused with Western style cooking; will be hosting a Thai Street Food Carnival, Thai’Riffic Food Fest, at their Marina Square outlet. The event aims to celebrate the diversity of Thai street food you can find at the streets and markets of Bangkok.

At the event, Bangkok Jam will recreate iconic street food items from the City of Angels, such as Kuey Teow Reua, pork and beef Thai style dried Boat Noodles, Khanom Buang, crispy Thai crepes, Ai Tim Ma Praw (Coconut Shell Ice Cream), all spearheaded by their Chef De Cuisine, Thongloy Wilaiwan,

A Thai style iced popsicle-making machine will be featured, producing sweet, thirst quenching ice popsicles of  different flavours, such as Thai Iced Milk Tea.  Other street food at the event are popular dishes such as Tod Man Pla (Thai Fish Cakes), Peek Gai Tod (Fried Chicken Mid Joints with Thai Fish Sauce Marinade), and Popiah Tod (Deep-fried Spring Rolls). The Thai Chefs will also be doing live demonstrate of preparing their signature Spicy Mango and Papaya Salads.

What’s a festival without live performances? Local up-and-coming acoustic band, The Lost Box, will be singing some of your favourite tunes, as well as Thai songs that might ring a bell in your head.

Tickets will be selling at all Bangkok Jam outlets for $15 nett per set, with both $2 and $1 coupons that can be used to purchase the food and beverage items at the stalls that range from $1 to $5 for each serving. Bangkok Jam merchandise will also be on sale at the event.

Each set of ticket entitles the guest to one chance to the lucky draw, with the grand prize of a 2 nights stay at Four Points by Sheraton, Bangkok!  Customers also stand a chance to win Creative Eateries dining vouchers which can be used at over 30 outlets across Singapore.
