Black & White 2: The Dawn of Justice REVIEW
With a production budget of NT $60 million (approx. SGD $3 million), BLACK & WHITE: THE DAWN OF JUSTICE, swears to create a new protocol for disaster action-packed films in the Chinese movie scene.

Unlike majority of the Taiwanese movies that appear to be of slow pace and even draggy at times, The Black & White 2 is a gripping fast paced action film with stunning visuals. However, it is a pity that some of the CGI effects aren't realistic enough and some parts of the plot seems far-fetched, if these areas could be improved, it will be in line with the Hollywood blockbusters. Nonetheless, it is still a great movie that worth catching in the cinema.

Needless to say, the cool Mark CHAO and Witty LIN Gengxin are eye-catching, however, the supporting actor, HUANG Bo certainly stands out among the crowd and is no less important than the 2 leading actors in connecting the whole story.

Something worth mentioning, is that, our local actor, Christopher LEE 李銘順 has made a cameo appearance as General Chief of Staff in the movie, whom leaves a deep impression to all, despite his short appearance.

Something to applaud is the final fighting scene which is real exciting, and definitely a climax of the film and generally, the momentum of the movie is well grapsed, enticing the audience to follow through the entire movie.

The 126 mins Black & White 2: The Dawn of Justice will be screening in Singapore, starting 9th October 2014.

Black & White 2: The Dawn of Justice SYNOPSIS
WU Ying-xiong (casted by Mark CHAO), Police officer in the Southern Precinct, has been revered as a hero in the Harbor City ever since he stopped the terrorists on a Boeing 777 airplane and kept the city safe.  Unfortunately, the peace is only temporary…

Panic spreads the whole city as a series of bomb explosions happen within hours, which is just the beginning of a tight-knit conspiracy.

Righteous and impulsive, Wu is paired up with the intelligent but arrogant loner CHEN Zhen (Casted by LIN Gengxin) to track down the mastermind behind the bombing incidents. During the investigation, they found clues linked to a freeway kidnapping case. Worst of all, they find the next suicide bomber is XU Da-fu (casted by HUANG Bo), a criminal who once helped Wu solve the airplane crisis and secretly ran away with his girlfriend Qiao-qing by faking death with Wu’s assistance.

Soon Wu and Chen discover that the bombings are just the prelude to a massive destruction. Stolen military missiles are now aimed at the Harbor City, and a deadly virus which is so highly contagious that it can devour the whole world in 14 days, is about to breakout!  All the chaos is planned by the Nightwalkers—a secret assassination squad which used to serve the highest government officials.
Facing the unprecedented crisis, the two-men team of totally opposite characteristics is the only hope to reverse the situation. Nonetheless, when moral standards are turned upside down, what faith should they keep to maintain the so-called justice?
