Launch of Korean lifestyle Online Store: Me-In

Was recently invited to Zafferano for the media launch of Me-In, a Korean lifestyle online store.

Me-In, pronounced as "Mi-In" in Korean, basically represents:

美 IN Inner Beauty

美人 Beautiful People

美引 Leading Fashion Forward

Inspired by the “It Girl”,  Me-In is borne from the desire to serve the modern pragmatic woman to be aptly dressed for diverse circumstances and situations, and helping them to achieve this effortlessly.

The backstage heroines who worked to conjuring the beautiful images of the “It Girl” and to realize the conception of complete outfits with matching accessories for that right look, is the Creative Director, Hyejin KIM, together with her stylist, Song-yee GIL. This allows a head-to-toe shopping experience at Me-In.

The apparels are categorized to 3 different themes:

Work . Play . Love

- Work -

The classic colors offsets what would traditionally be considered too informal for the Korean workplace, accompanying it with a jacket of modern cut adds a degree of sophistication. To tone down further, you can choose to match it with a pair of conservative pumps.

A common fashion faux pas is overly focus on your primary attire (e.g., tops & bottoms), which often results in a "trying too hard" vibe. Match the basic attire with shoes and jacket of great details helps.
