Cafe Asia 2014, ICT Industry Expo 2014 and Sweets N Bakes Asia 2014

With the preceding success in last year, the Café Asia and International Coffee & Tea (ICT) Industry Expo made its return at Marina Bay Sands Singapore from 6 March to 8 March 2014. In addition, Sweets & Bakes Asia 2014 is to be held concurrently with Café Asia 2014 and ICT Industry Expo 2014 for the first time.

This trade and consumer event organised by Conference and Exhibitions Management Services (CEMS) and supported by IE Singapore, marks the largest gathering of tea, coffee and bakery players in Southeast Asia with 98 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, is expected to attract some 10,000 visitors.

In conjunction with the shows, the organizer and hosting associations will be holding a Singapore Coffee and Bake Friends Charity Drive where visitors and exhibitors to the shows can donate SGD$10 or more for coffee and cake combos at the CSR Lounge, where proceeds will go to the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN).

The two hosting associations, the Singapore Bakery & Confectionery Trade Association and Singapore Coffee Association, together with the event organizer Conference & Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd will be presenting a cheque of SGD10,000 to APSN to kick-off the Charity Drive.

Exclusive workshops, classes and demonstrations of the latest technologies, trends and techniques pertaining coffee, tea and baking will be available at the exhibitions. In addition, there will be various tasting sessions where vistors get to sample the bread and pastry, cake and confectionery, as well as various brands of coffee and tea.

Sweets & Bakes Asia 2014 is hosted by Singapore Bakery and Confectionery Trade Association (SBCTA) and supported by International Federation of Chinese Bakery & Confectionery Association (IFCBCA), Singapore Food Manufacturers’ Association and All China Bakery Association (ACBA).
