Lenovo's new addition of Yoga Convertibles and Multimode Devices

This year end, Lenovo has launched new multimode devices, of which, the main highlights of this new line up are the two new Yoga convertibles:

The Yoga 2 Pro, successor to the original 360° flip and fold Yoga 13, is a multimode Ultrabook with a super high-resolution QHD+ 13.3-inch display that can fold back 360°. The 10-finger touchscreen in a 16:9 aspect ratio, display images in 3,200 x 1,800 resolution, which by far, is the highest screen resolution on the market today.

The Yoga 2 Pro also features a Backlit AccuType keyboard with individual rounded keys for comfortable and accurate typing even in the dark.
 
The Yoga 2 Pro, now at 15.5 mm thin and 1.39 kg, has greater mobility. It features a unique software, 'Yoga Picks' that detects the PC switching modes and recommends apps for the four usage modes - Tent, Stand, Tablet and Laptop and available at a price, starting from SGD $1,899.00

On the other hand, the ThinkPad Yoga is built to take business users to new heights with its multimode design and business-heavy features - its performance, security and productivity features as well as customization options.  The 12.5-inch magnesium alloy ThinkPad Yoga offers a stunning visual and intensive multimedia experience, with choices of a HD IPS or a FHD IPS 10-finger multitouch display.

The ThinkPad Yoga features a unique lift and lock system where the keyboard is locked in Tablet Mode and unlocked on Laptop Mode.


In addition, the ThinkPad Yoga also responds to voice input so users can chat on Instant Messaging programs, play their music, search the web, and more without lifting a finger. Near Field Communications (NFC)1 is another key feature, allowing for the easy sharing of data between compatible devices. The ThinkPad Yoga is now available at a price, starting from SGD $2,699.00
 
The ThinkPad series also added new members to the family, with the new ThinkPad T440s, T440p, T440 and X240 laptops.
  
Apart from these, Lenovo is also launching the Flex 20, a multimode All-in-One (AIO) PC that uniquely combines a 19.5" frameless multitouch display with a screen that is adjustable to any position for comfort.
