Lenovo Launches New Range of Touch-Enabled Devices

Singapore, 31st May 2013 - Lenovo announced its new range of touch-enabled devices that range from "table-top", laptop, ultrabook to tablets.

The IdeaCentre Horizon 27, an all-in-one Table PC packed with a supersized 27-inch screen using NVIDIA GeForce graphics and Dolby Home Theatre® v4 audio with 10-finger touch with Intel Core i7 processors that allow up to four people to use it simultaneously for both work and play. The Horizon Aura interface allows users to interact via videos, photos, apps and games and came preloaded with a library of games created by Lenovo. To complement the gaming experience, is a special set of on-the-glass accessories including an e-dice and four joysticks and four strikers. The IdeaCentre Horizon will be available at Lenovo Exclusive Stores and all Courts outlets starting with prices from SGD$2,899.
 




IdeaPad Yoga 11s comes with an 11.6-inch HD IPS display packed with Core™ i5 processors and Windows 8 to give users the full power of multitasking and using Office applications.  It allows users to swipe their hand in front of the webcam to advance photos, videos and other documents with its 10 finger multi-touch and Motion Control.  Similar to its predecessors, users can utilize the Yoga 11s in four modes – laptop, tablet, stand and tent – for both work and play, it is a small yet powerful Ultrabook. The IdeaPad Yoga 11s comes with same attractive rubber painting and a soft-touch exterior as the IdeaPad Yoga 13 and will be available in both Silver Grey and Clementine Orange, retailing with prices from SGD$1,399.

 
The ThinkPad Helix is a premium convertible that defines the next generation of mobile computing through its ground breaking “rip and flip” design. This special design provides users absolute mobility and versatility with multiple ways to use it. The ThinkPad Helix can be converted to a 11.6-inch tablet by detaching it from the base. It can also be fliped 180° and snaped back into its base under the Stand mode to convert to mini-movie theatre or business presentation central.  Starting price from SGD$2,199

The ThinkPad Edge E431 comes with an optional touchscreen display and is targeted at small and medium enterprises (SMEs) . Ushered in a redesigned trackpad, the E431 provides more real estate for end users to play around with. The E431 comes with a proprietary new charging standard called OneLink, that uses a single cable for charging, video and data. Consumers can also purchase an additional OneLink dock, a peripheral with four USB ports, HDMI and an Ethernet jack. The ThinkPad Edge E431 (non-touch) is already available in stores with prices starting from SGD$1,199, while the touchscreen version will be available from mid July with prices starting from SGD$1,499.

Lenovo has also recently unveiled a refreshed range of touch-enabled PCs, namely:
  • touchscreen versions of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon (retailing at a starting price of SGD$2,999)
  • IdeaPads U310 and U410 Ultrabooks (both in Graphite Grey Only) retailing with prices starting from SGD$1,199 and SGD$1,299 respectively
  • IdeaPad Z400 (prices starting from SGD$1,199)
  • Thin-and-light IdeaPad S400  (retailing with prices starting from SGD$1,099).
