Should I move forward now?

Received a call from an old buddy, she asked if I'm keen to join her in some freelance job and doing some online biz together... I'm keen and I really feel like coming out of the rat race and start on my own... My only fear is that my parents can't accept it... as this is gonna be at my own risk and the income will be unstable... thinking hard, thinking real hard... I guess I won't have the answer until I can really sit down and measure the pros & cons...
