Valentine's Crop and Valentine's Mini Accordion Album Tutorial
Well, this month's crop with Changi Simei CC & Our Craft Place happens to be on Valentine's day! So, expectantly, the turn up rate is super low, but I choose to attend this crop session without any regrets. Did a simple mini accordion album with some simple love quotes that fits into the EK Success mini luggage bag.
Materials used: EK Success Mini Luggage Bag, The Chocolate Box collection colorcore cardstock, Clear Acrylic Christmas embellishments used in cover of the accordion album (oops fogotten the brand), Antique Rose Mini Fresh cuts by Rebecca Sower, MM ribbon, DCWV Colored Love Rub On Quote Stack, MAMBI Heart bling, Daisy's D You are Journal Tag, buttons, Scrolls & Rose Cut Out from PP scraps
Tutorial:
- Use a 2 colour-toned cardstock and cut a 8"(L) x3.5"(W) strip,
- Then make 3 folds at each 2" interval
- Decorate the cover with your favourite embellishments
- Turn the card strip around and start decorating with rub-ons, embellishments like buttons and heart blings, and paper flower cut out. Add in some love phrases or quotes to the pages and a journal tag to add in your personal love notes/
For the 1st time, I won the most favorite vote! I guess the luggage bag has actually help me won more votes due to having a mini accordion album in it make it stands out from the rest of the projects / LO. I personally heart the altered heart album by Yen & lovely Valentine's cards made by June!

I received this lovely Valentine's card from June. Ooh, I simply heart this card! Go check out her blog, she, makes many lovely LOs & Projects, she's really fast in scrapping and great at layering and cut out! Hush hush. she's the super scrapper mom who can breastfeed and scrap at the same time!
I also had so much fun with June's newly bought of Autumn Leaves Stamps - Love in a Flourish. Thanks to the superb quality of the versafine ink pad. I managed to stamp these clear & crisp images even on the textured cardstock! June. thanks so much for the Valentine's card and lending me your newly bought stamp set!
