McDonald's Free Egg McMuffins and All-Day Breakfast on 17 March 2014!

The National Breakfast Day is back again!  Over 120,000 free Egg McMuffins will be given away on 17 March 2014 in 122 Singapore McDonald’s restaurants island-wide.


Participating stores will be giving away 1000 free Egg McMuffins during breakfast hours from 6am to 11am on a first come first served basis. (Except for Compass Point & Clifford Centre, free Egg McMuffins will be available during 7am - 11am, on first come first served basis).

The following stores will not be participating in National Breakfast Day:
  • KKH Hospital
  • Yew Tee Main & Kiosk
  • Tampines Interchange Kiosk
  • Lucky Chinatown
  • Clementi Avenue 3
  • Changi Airport T2 Transit
  • Science Centre Singapore

On Monday, it will also be McDonald’s Singapore’s first ever All-Day Breakfast, with breakfast hours extended till 6pm! (Except for Clifford Centre, All-Day Breakfast will be available till 7pm)

The full regular lunch/dinner menu will only available after 6 pm.  However, customers still get to order some of items such as French Fries, McSpicy, McNuggets, McChicken, McWings, Nacho Cheese/Tangy Filet-O-Fish, Apple Slices and desserts before 6 pm.

All-Day Breakfast will not be available at below stores:
  • Yew Tee Kiosk
  • Tampines Interchange Kiosk
  • Science Centre Singapore 


A new app - The Surprise Alarm App,  will also be launched on that day. This  free alarm application, available for both iOS and Android, allows users to set multiple alarms throughout the day. Users will also stand to win daily surprises ranging from a free cup of coffee , to a sundae on McDonald’s, as well as, music downloads, fun images or videos.

And this year, McDonald's Malaysia has postponed the National Breakfast Day in light of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 tragedy.  They have made the announcement in their Facebook page:

 
"Dear Valued Customers,

In light of the current developments surrounding Flight MH370, McDonald’s Malaysia wishes to announce the postponement of the National Breakfast Day 2014, which was scheduled to take place on Monday, 17 March 2014.

This decision is made as a mark of respect for those affected by this event, and we also extend our hope and prayers for the safety and well-being of the passengers and cabin crew involved.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused due to this postponement. Rest assured that we will announce the new date of the National Breakfast Day at a more suitable time.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
