Being one of the smallest portable mobile photo printing devices in the market, the eye-pleasing LG Pocket Photo prints pictures rendered at a crystal clear 313dpi — perfect for sharing or displaying. With the free Pocket Photo editing app downloaded, users can wirelessly connect their smartphones or tablets and begin printing immediately.
The accompanying Pocket Photo app allows users to experiment with its wide range of customization options, including filter effects and frame augmentation feature. It also offers the ability to embed QR codes in photos which is a great way to connect a physical photograph with an online community or internet-based content. The creative and easy-to-use combination of app and device provides the Pocket Photo the ability to edit and print photographs immediately while on-the-go.
The Pocket Photo uses the proven ZINK® technology which utilizes heat to activate the necessary color-forming dye crystals imbedded in each sheet of paper, eliminating the need for expensive ink cartridges, ribbons or toner. ZINK’s inkless paper system preserves images much longer and produces less smearing as compared to conventional printing processes,. The Pocket Photo can print 30 photos on a single charge.
